Nicca Chemical Co., Ltd. ("Nicca") announces that it has entered into an agreement with The Chemours Company ("Chemours") to acquire the manufacturing and sales business related to Zelan™, a globally recognized non-fluorinated water repellent technology for textiles.

Chemours has decided to exit its water repellent business as part of its portfolio optimization strategy. Under this transaction, Nicca will succeed the Zelan™ technology and brand, ensuring a smooth and orderly transition.

Importantly, existing customers, sales channels, and methods of distribution will, in principle, remain unchanged, and there will be no material impact on supply continuity.
