Third-party Certification

As part of our commitment to creating a society that is friendly to the planet and to people, we comply with a range of domestic and international regulations and requirements and execute supply chain management initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact.
We work to maintain and manage quality and safety by introducing certifications from third-party organizations, such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 22716 (Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics).

ISO

NICCA Chemical is applying ISO 14001, an international standard for environmental management systems, as an effective tool for environmental improvement, and we are introducing from our main factory in order and are active.
Organizations related to environmental activities are composed of company-wide environmental quality / safety and health subcommittees, internal environmental audit committee and committees of each site.

ZDHC

ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Program is called ZDHC for short and is aimed at restricting the use of hazardous substances at the time of manufacturing textile, leather and footwear value chain. The world's leading apparel brands and groups related to the supply chain are the contributors and in 2015, the ZDHC has published the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (ZDHC MRSL), a list of chemical substances that restrict intentional use in facilities that process textile materials, coated fabrics, leather, and trim parts in textiles and footwear products.
At NICCA, we have restricted the use of these hazardous substances since 2015 and have released a list of our products that conform to, or meet the ZDHC MRSL on our website. In addition to our efforts, environmentally friendly corporate attitude and CSR activities, we are now joining the ZDHC to contribute to environmental preservation.

RSPO

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) was established in 2004 to promote the production and use of sustainable palm oil products through global standards and multistakeholder participation.
We promote the use of RSPO-certified palm oil-derived ingredients in our products.

GOTS

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is recognized as one of the world's leading processing standards for fabrics made from organic textiles. Since its introduction in 2006, GOTS has been driven by the growth of the organic textile market and the demand from the textile industry for processing standards (i.e., whether the fabric has been processed in an environmentally friendly manner appropriate for organic textiles and whether the raw organic fibers used are used correctly).
In order to provide our customers with textile processing chemicals that minimize the burden on health and the environment, the Group has been working to obtain GOTS certification for each of its products from time to time.
